LOCK
When I bought my car new, it had this keyless entry system which I had never had previously. I was very suspicious, imagining teenagers playing around and getting into the car and driving off after a mere couple of tries. Although why they would want to steal a Ford Taurus I could not imagine, even though it does have a 3.7 litre engine and is very fast away when the red light changes which I do appreciate.
The other thing was this remote thingy which unlocks all doors plus the trunk which I have loved and is still working after 15 years. All in all, despite being a very pedestrian car, it has been an excellent one and so far no one has cracked the code.

Good that the code is hard to crack. Luckily for me not even the most junior joyrider would want to steal a 1990 Corolla!

I like your take on the theme

Nice take on the theme.

I agree that it is good to have a secure code that is not easy to figure out! Great pics! Happy photo hunting, and thank you for the visit!

I spent two weeks trying to come up with a picture – finally it just came to me.
Yes, love yours. I have one of those key thingies with my newish car. Never had one before, used to just have keys.

Has your husband cracked the code?

I have never had one of those new key entry type cars. Looks pretty fancy to me but I'd be the same way about wondering how secure they are. Probably more secure than the old ones. Happy weekend.

MY dad had a similar car, the mercury sable. I remember knowing the code and liking that a lot! Great find for this theme!

I have never seen a car which requires a code to open its door. Amazing!
I would probably find myself locked out often as I'm very forgetful and not good with numbers.
Happy weekend!

Great take on the theme, I sometimes wish I had a code to lock my doors and windows at home all at once !!
Mine is up, happy weekend

Good idea for the theme. One would have to make sure one's teenagers didn't know the code or the car might be missing a lot of times

Yeah I had a little trouble with the theme. I had a couple of good ideas but no resources, like h
hemlock, interlock, hammerlock, etc

Could you have used a picture of a quay?
June 13, 2009 at 2:25 pm
I've never seen a car lock like that before! Interesting. I'm not sure how I'd cope with yet another code to remember.

I bought a suitycase with a code before leaving the UK. I mucked it up within 5 minutes and resorted to a padlock! You have done remarkably well with your car lock.

Phil, Maybe a pic of Loch with a Quay on it… Ouch!

Oh I don't think I'd like to risk a keyless car! Is that the code? Is it prominently displayed?!!

It's really good to have a secure code that is not easy to decipher. Keyless entry is a nice benefit.
